ABOUT ME
Filmmaker . Director . Production Assistant

I am a young, award-winning Director based near London. I have always had a love for film making but it was through studying Film Production at the University of Gloucestershire that I found myself leaning towards directing.
I do really enjoy making fiction films but I believe that my talents definitely lie in the documentary and journalism genres. I first became interested in documentary when studying 'Amy' by Asif Kapadia at A Level. I found the way he told the story through her friends and the way he structured the found footage really fascinating but it was the overall message that struck me most; how one film can leave you with such strong emotions and how he had managed to create that atmosphere was something I wanted to learn more about. That is what I hope to achieve through my documentaries; I hope they leave the audience having discussions and conversations about really important topics.
Currently, I am in contact with Avon and Somerset Police who are integrating my short documentary 'Clare's Law' into their disclosure officer training program, as well as Bristol UWE University who are looking to implement this film into their Welcome Packs and policing courses from September. These are both really exciting updates and I am increasingly proud of the impact this documentary is having; I hope these are the first of many Police Departments and Universities interested in using it.
As well as working on these connections, I am a part-time Production Assistant and BTS creator for 'The Past Falls Open Anywhere', a one take drama project working with the local Ukrainian Association in Gloucester to tell the children's stories moving from their home country. In my spare time, I am working further with this Ukrainian Association on a zero budget, short documentary about the Ukrainian women who volunteer there, knitting camouflage netting to send back to soldiers in the war. I will be Directing, Producing and Editing it so keep an eye out for more info on that coming soon.
I also have a TikTok page with just under 15k followers (70% female) where I post consistently about current social and political issues / conversations. My content is mostly centered around women, the injustices we face and breaking down and explaining misogynistic pieces of viral media. I have linked this page to the right and in the Contact section of this website.
Lastly, I am a part-time Producer, voluntarily, for a different project, turning Perry Power's award-winning screenplay for 'It Ends With Me' into a feature, drama film. At the moment my role consists of assisting the GoFundMe campaign and putting Perry in contact with journalists etc to boost awareness of our project. You can learn more about this project by clicking on the poster to the right.
