I am a young, award-winning short documentary Director based near London with a First Class degree in Film Production. I have always had a love for film making but it was through studying at the University of Gloucestershire that I found myself leaning towards journalistic documentaries.

My most recent documentary was 'Clare's Law', a short film raising awareness of the Domestic Violence Disclosure Scheme. This film won a Royal Television Society Award for Journalism and is now being used by Avon and Somerset Police to train disclosure officers, as well as by the University of West England within their Policing Courses. This project taught me that documentary filmmaking is a wonderful tool for authentic story-telling and short films can take serious and complex topics and make them accessible for a range of audiences on a range of different platforms.

I am currently editing my next short documentary, 'The Women Who Weave'; my aim with this film is to use an observational and poetic style to convey the stories of a Ukrainian community. I am so proud of how this piece is looking and am honoured that the women of the Ukrainian centre trust me to convey their experiences of grief, war and loss.

I am also a freelance Production Assistant and Runner for Film and Television. I have done a couple of jobs with BBC Studios Comedy, but I recently wrapped on their fourth series of their BAFTA winning 'Here We Go'.

In my spare time I also have a TikTok page with just under 15k followers (70% female) where I post consistently about current social and political issues / conversations; I believe this helps improve my journalism skills. My content is mostly centered around women, the injustices we face and breaking down and explaining misogynistic pieces of viral media.
