CHELTENHAM GUARDIANS

This project is a quick, documentary-style video that I made as a side project. The Cheltenham Guardians and The Nightmare Hub are small, volunteer-run organisations who work with the Police to help safeguard members of the public on busy Saturday nights. They have a specific focus on aiding lone females they find and can offer help like a lift home or even just a safe space to sit and sober up.

When I heard about their work, I approached the organisation wanting to raise some awareness for them. I accompanied them on a ride-along, filmed various interviews on the go, learnt about why they do what they do and then edited my footage down to create a short documentary-style video that was easily digestible and suitable for social media.

This short film serves as a proof of concept for a potentially larger documentary and I hope I can work with them further in the future.
